When you use the Summr.io Chrome Extension to summarize a Medium blog post, the content of the blog post is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. We do not collect any personal data from you.
The content of the blog post is used solely for the purpose of generating a summary. The summarized content is then sent back to the Chrome Extension front end for your use.
We do not store any data. The content of the blog post and the generated summary are not saved on our servers or any third-party servers. Once the summary is generated and sent back to you, the data is discarded.
We use OpenAI's API to process the content of the blog post. OpenAI's privacy policy can be found here.
We take reasonable measures to protect the data transmitted to and from OpenAI's API. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
